AutoLinearFit
Using AutoLinearFit you can do a rough color calibration for dual narrowband images. In fact this script does the following steps:
- ChannelExtraction for the red, green and blue color channels
- Check the statistics of the three grayscale images and choose the one with the lowest mean value (minimize the visible noise) or use another strategy.
- Use LinearFit to match the three gray scale images using the image with the lowest mean value or any other one as your reference image.
- Finally, combine all three images into one RGB color image using ChannelCombination.
If you are using this workflow then AutoLinearFit can do all these manual steps for you automatically, including selecting the reference image using statistics information.
Just select the RGB image you want to process, select the reference image you prefer (in most cases „Lowest mean“ should be fine) and press OK to run LinearFit on the three color channels.
